Iceberg's are the classic example of "look below the surface to see all that is there". The same holds true with our GAFYD.net "SAAS/Cloud Computing" solutions. A terrific example of this is the web page calendar recently installed for CRDC (Colorado Rural Development Council). The calendar is extremely simple at first glance - it gives a brief statement of scheduled events in a week, month or agenda style format. However, just make a mouse click to look beneath the surface, and you'll find an amazing amount of additional information.

What has been most valuable to the CRDC staff is the speed and simplicity of making additions or updates. The web site calendar is always current with all needed detail. In the past the admin person would have to gather and maintain all event information using multiple programs on their private PC. This might include, web page addresses (URL's), lodging / transportation information, driving times or distances, special meeting notes etc. Then log into a "user UNfriendly" web editing program and completely retype all that information PLUS often having to email custom information to board members or others attending the event. A very time consuming process that frequently introduced errors and confusion.

Using the integrated GAFYD calendar, additions, modifications or cancellations to calendar events are simple, fast and show immediately on the website with no special editing software. Any authorized domain user can use their standard calendaring program (no new software to load or learn). GAFYD allows a user to have "multiple calendars", therefore the admin person just creates one called "WEB CALENDAR". From that point on, without changing any of the regular routine - all additions and modifications entered on the master calendar in their standard GAFYD environemnt will automatically appear on the Web Site for all visitors - NO special editing or duplicate typing required!

• Agenda - click the Agenda Tab at the top right to see a list view.
• Event - scroll down to Web June 4 - click the event title to see details.
• MAP - click on the map link next to the location information, it will open a new browser window showing the town on a map.
• To Here - click on this link in the small White Balloon that contains the event address.
• Type in any address you will be starting from and press the Enter key.
